About
The need for traditional plasters and mortar products lead Westox to develop a range of premixed traditional materials that could be utalised for plastering and brick or stone laying and re-pointing mortars.
The range now extends from pre-mixed traditional heritage type lime based mortars and re-pointing materials to the “Plasterlite” light weight expanded metal lathing renders and multi purpose finishes, also rehabilitation renders which are used following the successful treatment of rising damp.
The use of the light weight plasters in heritage restoration is commonly used as these materials are also compatible with the traditional type mortars especially in ceiling repair work. Any use of the light weight plasters in restoration should be documented for future reference.
